Sleeping for a year sounds really good right about now. I mean, with how much technology advances there would be a lot of new things to learn, but I would rather sleep away 365 days than go without wearing clothing.
2. Would you rather be gossiped about or never talked about at all?
Gossip is rarely ever a good thing. Sure, never being talked about means people probably don't really remember you once you're not in sight, but that's okay. I'd take the latter choice.
3. Would you rather be hairy all over or completely bald?
I'd prefer to be completely bald, it just sounds a lot easier than trying to deal with hair literally everywhere. Plus, there are wigs and eyebrows can be draw on and such.
4. Would you rather be happy for 8 hours/day and poor or sad for 8 hours/day and rich?
Okay, so, I sleep for about 8 hours every night. If my unhappy hours could coincide with my sleep than I'd choose unhappiness and riches.
5. Would you rather be invisible or be able to read minds?
I'd rather be invisible. I don't care enough to know what's going on inside the minds of other people. And I have enough to deal with from hearing my own thoughts all day. Invisibility 100%
6. Would you rather find true love or 10 million dollars?
Yo, 10 mill can pay for my schooling and leave me with soooo much money after the fact. Forget about true love.
7. Would you rather be stuck on a desert island with a Star Trek fan or with a constipated clown?
Def with a Star Trek fan, at least we'd have something in common.
8. Would you rather always take a cold shower or sleep an hour less than you need to be fully rested?
Cold showers! (because it says nothing about taking cold baths, so if cold showers are so bad, I'll just sit in some hot water)

Ahh, I would never give up my babies. I would chuck my computer out of a window rather than let my pets go before their time.
10. Would you rather have super powers or have Christmas never end?
If Christmas never ended it would get rather boring and it would just be a normal day. I'd go for having a super power instead.
11. Would you rather be the sand castle or the wave?
Being the wave seems like it would be more sad because you're the one always destroying and erasing. So, I think I'd rather be the sand castle who gets to enjoy a short time on the beach before fading away.
12. Would you rather publish your diary or make a movie on your most embarrassing moments?
Publish my diary. I stopped writing in it years ago. It's basically just younger me giving a play-by-play of how my day went. Ohh, and there are some HP spells that I made up, and a small part where I was pretending to be Hermione and I talked about the Chamber of Secrets. It's really no big deal if all that gets published.
13. Would you rather be a giant hamster or a tiny rhino?
A tiny rhino would probably be kind of like the house hippo and that was hella adorable. So, a tiny rhino and not a giant hamster.
14. Would you rather be able to read everyone's mind all the time or always know the future?
Again with reading other people's minds, no thanks. I'd take always knowing the future! Then I'd be one step closer to being like Garnet with her future vision and that would be pree rad.
15. Would you rather know when you're going to die or how you're going to die?
I would rather know when I was going to die, that way I could live out my life accordingly. Knowing how you die would make you really scared of the thing (say you die by being hit by a car, than you'd be wary/scared of cars) and you'd spend so much avoiding said thing in order to live longer. That just seems like a lot of stress. Plus, knowing when you're going gives you time to say bye to everyone

Stages of Grief
I found out yesterday morning that someone I know passed away. She was one of the very first friends that I ever had in grade one after my family moved to a new city. In all honesty, she was my best friend. I really looked up to her. In grade two we got into a lot of trouble and after that year she was switched to another school. Being young kids, we didn't really manage to stay in contact after that.
Fast forward six years and I see her again in the hallways of high school. We never did go back to being friends. We hung out with different crowds, but she never failed to smile or say hello when we passed each other in the halls. And she had such a contagious laugh, such a sweet smile.
These past few weeks I've been thinking about the fact that we used to be really close. I thought about sending her a message, asking if she remembers I shenanigans from when we were eight. But I never did. I figured we hadn't spoken for so long that there wasn't really a point. I was also talking about her recently, about how we hatched out a master plan over the course of several weeks and went through with it, how we ended up getting suspended from school.
And just like that, she's gone. My childhood best friend. A person I thought about reconnecting with but never did. A person I talked about every once in a while because she was a huge part of my early school days. And now she isn't here. I'll never get the chance to work up the courage to send her a message, to ask her how life is going.
It doesn't feel real. I find it so hard to wrap my head around the fact that a twenty year old, a person just beginning their university career, a person who was just starting to travel the world, is gone forever.
I guess right now I'm still trying to work through stage one - denial. Seriously, I keep hoping that she's going to appear on her Facebook page and tell everyone they got it wrong, that she's perfectly fine. But I've read countless messages from grieving friends and family, read the obituary online.
A part of me also feels like I don't have a right to feel as upset about this as I do. We lost contact a long time ago, we weren't friends anymore. And maybe I'm feeling this void of sadness inside so much because she was someone my age, because she was someone I went to school with, someone I wanted to reach out to again, because she seemed fine, because her death was sudden and unexpected. I don't really know.
Anyway, sorry about the sadness. I just didn't know what else to do
